What would I even do with this feeling of generosity toward those beneath me: aren't these little kiddies gawking and staring because they were raised this way, by the system I'm trying to uphold? Ridiculous, pointless! You cannot find fault in them for having been reared in such a backward manner without them ever being able to pipe up and say stop, you're forming a nitwit. No power from word one, these kiddies. And even though the kiddies are vile and ignorant and offensive, I'm still at a loss. But what if I wanted to get into it, into the stew, with my ideals, and make good on the promises of the job—well I thought I had wanted to—but I actually never did. I didn't care enough to waste my energies in pursuing some noble but utterly pointless project. Why haven't I cared? Let me explain walls.
